+ Greenwich Peninsula, The Lighterman. Conran and Partners. Year 2014
Part of the Greenwich Peninsula Housing Development instigated by Knight Dragon, Conran and Partners are in charge of the interior design of two of the blocks. The general approach based on the historical context of the site. For the Lighterman our concept was focus on the colour palette of the river Thames and texture of the naval history. Specifically my role was being in charge of all the public areas of the block. In order to bring activity and a sense of community to the lobby, we develop a wood structure with meeting rooms, post boxes and lounge area, that will organise the space and break the plan into different areas. The choose of materials and the colour palette pic up on the reflectivity and properties of water and the over all look reminds of the industrial heritage of Greenwich.

Parte del desarrollo de viviendas para Greenwich Peninsula, Conran and Partners están a cargo del diseño de interiores de dos de los bloques. La idea principal para el diseño está basado en el contexto histórico del lugar. Para el Lighterman nuestro concepto se basa en la paleta de colores del río Támesis y el contexto naval del enclave. Mi rol fue estar a cargo de las zonas comunes del bloque. Con el fin de dotar de actividad y un sentido de comunidad para el vestíbulo, desarrollamos una estructura de madera con salas de reuniones, buzones y sala de estar, que organizael espacio y divide la planta en diferentes áreas. Las propiedades y en particular, los reflejos del agua inspiraron la selección de materiales y la paleta de colores, recordando al patrimonio industrial de Greenwich.
